Products bearing the Mr. Tronic brand are placed on the market by Meruel Investments SL, which is established in the European Union and acts as manufacturer for the purposes of EU product legislation.

One document per reference.

Every reference has its own instructions for use, covering eight languages: Spanish, English, German, French, Italian, Dutch, Swedish and Polish.

Tested at full length.

When a shipment arrives, one unit of every reference in it is tested at its full nominal length — all 305 metres of a 305-metre reel, not a metre cut from the end. A cable can be sound where you cut it and fail somewhere along the run.

Nothing is released for sale until its sample has passed, and every result is recorded against its batch. We specify the construction of each product ourselves — conductor, pair count, separator, shielding and jacket — so what we verify on arrival is what we asked to be built.

Ours to issue, ours to sign.

Under EU law the manufacturer is the company that places a product on the market under its own brand. For Mr. Tronic that is Meruel Investments SL, so we issue and sign our declarations of conformity ourselves. We do not pass on a supplier’s document in their place.

A declaration identifies the product by model reference and EAN, and states the legislation it is issued against. To ask about the documentation held for a specific product, write to info@mr-tronic.com quoting the EAN.
